As much as it's a lovely day here, I'm not risking riding on roads as I'm off to the US tomorrow for a 2.5 week work trip (also can't afford to aggravate any existing injuries). Might use the turbo if I get time. My cycling year starts at Easter when I get back :okay:

As soon as the shed's built and I've somewhere to store it, a trailer's on the shopping list.

Nice one guys. No finer cycling adventure than loading up the trailer with sprog, picnic and a couple ofnteddy bears and heading out for the day. You both become the centre of attention, and if the weather turns sprog is cocooned in the dry.

Ach, well, taking Mum out for an early Mothers' Day lunch today - going today because it should be less crowded than Sunday.

But I'll be pushing her a couple of miles in each direction in her wheelchair, and the restaurant is at the top of a hill, so I'll get a bit of exercise in. And tomorrow will be free for a few bike miles!

Out with the carbon on the commute. First time its been ridden since southend.

All little chilly and slightly windy out there despite the blue skies and warm sunshine. Worrying if i packed enough layers for the ride home at 8pm tonight

Hauling it around the Peak District on a 10 speed Peugeot mixte could be hard work though!
