Not the greatest by a long shot.

Was lazy at times and was a bit slow but he knew where the goal was and by god he scored some crackers and important goals for us.

I've met loads of footballers in my time and most are kn*bs who are up their own ar5es. Have to say though he is a complete star and a gentleman to boot. No one I know who's met him disagrees.

If it's spread like that, sadly pulling through does not look that likely... sorry to say...

Kind of agree with you. He played a few weeks back as well in a charity match for the Tommy Burns Charity, scored as well.

Here's hoping he pulls through.

I can still remember his first turn out for Wimbledon. His backside was was bigger than mine (and mine isn't small!!;) ).

The club hired Daley Thompson to get him into shape. Daley trained him so hard he fainted.

Nil desperandum, mad one. I seem to recall a similarly afflicted chap (name of Armstrong?) who had a reasonable outcome. 'Where there's life' and all that.
