I witnessed one of my pals get handlebar wobbles going down the road from Slammanan to Falkirk, which has some pretty fast descents, when i was a kid, he came off doing about 20mph. Wasn't a pretty sight. I was on my BSA Javelin at the time and made it down in one piece.

Another mate tried to go down the, near vertical, face of a coal bing on a Tomahawk, he went over the bars half way down. I must admit we didnt try to dissuade him from the attempt. He now races stock cars for fun
