I think you miss understand what didn’t means

A bit of ingenuity, some fishing line, and a few helpers would give that effect. Doesn't exactly move convincingly, does it? Also, it's essential to make the recording fuzzy enough so any fishing line etc doesn't show up. Is there anybody there? Knock once for yes, twice for nooooooo.
