I love retro bikes and have a soft spot for some of the old Giants in particular the Cadex models CFR's and 980C.
I came across a nice Giant Cadex CFR-4 for sale. It's in relatively good condition throughout (not sure exactly what year they are from?). Bike is being sold by a reputable person and not crazy money so not the end of the world if it doesnt work out!! I have however read about the bonded tubes so should I just avoid?
Does anybody have any opinions or advise on these bikes and how different they are? Would love to purchase the CFR-4 and give it a small tidy it up but would love to know a little more about these bikes if anybody has any advice/are they good/smooth/fast?
