Giant Defy fork weight

Last night i stripped out and cleaned up my headser on the Defy 3 I bought in the Spring. So I weighed the carbon fork while I was at it.

540 grams with its aluminium steerer.

So there.

Not much that. My new Deore mtn bike gear shifters weight 300g

The (carbon) fork on my Cannondale Quick is 720 grams! Mind you it's longer.

I just bought a new carbon disc braked fork...Kinesis....625g.. before I cut the steerer.

Including the brake, or raw weight?
