I am going to view one of these bikes with a view to buying it. I have not established if its 14 or 16 speed. My concern if the bike was speced as 14 speed from new would it have an 126 mm rear axle spacing and therefore not be suitable to upgrade to 8/9/10/11 speed. If this is the case I aint going to bother even going to see the bike as I have spares in 8/9 speed sti/cassettes etc ?

I have found out the bike im going to see has a 7 speed cassette. would this mean than it has 126mm spacing so cant be converted to 8 or 9 speed cassette as it requires 130 mm. I m on the verge of pulling out of the sale now as I don't want to be stuck with 7 speed.
