Total disk . I have a 90 mm rear and asked if i should use that on a hilly TT but everyone said just use the disk . I guess the aero qualities give more advantage than the weight gain .
Just been reading back on what you are trying to do . The thing with getting aero is it can cost a lot of money for very small gains . All of those gains work together towards the over all goal . If you don't want to go full aero then you need to work out what will give you the biggest gains and do that .
Clip on tri bars would get you into a better position and a deeper section rear wheel is a better gain that a deeper front wheel .
There is a chart somewhere that gives you a break down of what gives you the best gains , i don't think wheels are very high on the list though![]()
Later to day I will goole and see what the web has to say about the best gains.
I was looking at a collective gain but just not sure which Items would give me the better results.. that's why I'm a bit ify about splashing out on a bike just right now?

I can save you the time - fitness is the best gain.
As said tri bars would probably be the best buy . Once you are in that position a pointy helmet may be another gain but that's another mine field![]()
Get fitter. Lots of stuff out there. At 64 I recommend Joe Friels 'Fast after Fifty' for some useful advice. Get lower and narrower (tri-bars which can clip on over your existing bar tape). Practice, repeat, refine, practice again, and so on!
All for 50 quid extra maximum.
