Giant Toughroad, anyone got any opinions?

I just had a quick flick around the local bike shop's cul-de-sacs on a couple of Giant Talons, I quite liked the "2" but they also had a Toughroad SLR 2 in there which I hadn't heard of... took it for a very brief spin and it put one of those "oooooh, bike" grins on my face

Now, I'm supposed to be window shopping for a hardtail mtb really, but I can't shake off the feeling that the Grin counts for a lot when you're picking a bike.

Anyone got one, or any experience of them?

Not really owned one bad had a quick try on one of these. I did like it but was comparing it to the Giant Roam.

Even now occasionally I think what it would be like if I have gone with the Toughroad..

I ended up not choosing it partly because how it looked ageist that Roam. Probably that's personal.. also the LBS didn't have it in stock to compare it directly with the Roam so I compared them separately.

Talon was the other model I compared.
