I spent that stage utterly bewildered about what had happened to Filippo Ganna and how the absolute specimen I’d put in my team had shrunk down to a weedy Mr Muscle advert!
Then it turned out that Ganna is the TT champion (thus the unit in the tricolore a few days ago) but the road champion is the similarly named Filippo Zana (thus my mishearing the commentators) who is half his size!
