They started in Ireland a few years ago too. I can see the excuse for starting in a neighbouring country and cycle into Italy but it does stretch it when the peloton have to all jump on planes.

Akshully, they started in Norn Ireland and then headed to Ireland, both of them being in Europe for the time-being...
