Is Wout sick?

He said he was ill week before the race started and hence under performing

Evening all, was today's stage an interesting one, and if so where would be a decent distance to watch it from please?

If it had a downhill element, what would be a descent distance to watch it from ;)

Anyone know how to find/activate the often mentioned 'multiscreen' race view option? I can't see an option anywhere on phone or PC.

If you go to sports -> cycling there will be several options. There’s TNT Sports with a number which is the main TV channel, TNT Sports with no number which is the ad free and the new multi screen. I selected it by accident on Stage 1 and to be honest I wouldn’t bother as it looks a bit of a mess. I switch to normal ad free after a few seconds.

If you had time you could maybe do the big climb onwards which is the last 50km but to be honest you could do last 10km and not miss anything interesting.

I thinks it's only available on Discovery + streaming (phone app or https://www.discoveryplus.com/gb/sport/all-cycling), and not TV packages that include Eurosport or TNT Sport.

On the web page above, there are 5 options listed under "Upcoming" for Tuesday:
Giro d'Italia | Stage 4 11:30 -17:00, with "TNT SPORTS" icon below
Giro d'Italia | Stage 4 11:30 -17:00, with "TNT SPORTS 1" icon below
Giro d'Italia | Stage 4 11:30 -17:00, with "TNT SPORTS 3" icon below
Giro d'Italia | Stage 4 | Multi-Screen 11:50 -16:35, with "TNT SPORTS" icon below
Classic Dunkerque 14:00 - 16:00, no icon below.

Option 1 is main coverage single screen, no adverts
Options 2 & 3 are single screen; same as shown on the indicated TNT Sports channel, with adverts.
Option 4, on a brief whiz through of today's stage, showed, with no adverts and the same commentary as 1 ...
Initially showed 4 quarter-screen streams - top left = same as 1; top right = moto 1, behind leaders; bottom left = moto 2, behind chasers; bottom right = helicopter view. Top left included on-screen graphics, and sometimes showed a 4th view (peloton moto usually), sometimes the same as one of the other 3, on a 2 sec delay.
Mid-race (after chasers caught leaders), the "same as 1" view vanished and was replaced until the end of the race by either moto 3 or helicopter 2. There were no on-screen graphics, so you'd have the commentators discussing replays or a profile you couldn't see, and there were no images from the final 500m roadside cameras, so you could only see the finish on helicopter view.
It doesn't seem to be possible to switch between single-screen and multi-screen without stopping & switching to the other stream. I'd take the view that it's only worth trying if you can run 2 screens.

The "no icon" option 5 is, I believe, viewable on the £3.99/month D+ "basic" subscription, along with Quest etc

Other "no icon" races recently have been the Coupe de France GP du Morbihan, Tour de Finisterre, Boucles de l'Aune races, Famenne Ardennes Classic. Tro Bro Leon was TNT icon & needed the expensive Premium D+ plan.
Upcoming "no icon" races are the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, Junior MTB at Bielsko Biala (DH) & U23 MTB at Nove Mesto (XCO)

Looks like we could be waiting until Stg7, for a non-bunch sprint finish...

Pretty flat guaranteed sprint stage tomorrow by the looks of it.
Might be a good day to enjoy the sun or actually go to work 😁
Kooji favourite for the stage but Fretin,Magnier and Mads must be in with a shout...for me I feel the need to throw a bit more money away with SammyB,don't let me don't again.

I think Bruyneel mentioned that Groves was +1600. That seems rather good odds for someone with an excellent train and whose team don't really have any other objectives. At least for those who are inclined to take medium shots.
