GC Toro is the stalking horse for GC Simon Yates. He stays in pink long enough that Ayuso et al have to work for him, then when their genuine GC threats start slipping down the ranking he breaks and Simon gets his Giro

I think simon Yates is a potential winner . Both Ayuso and Roglic have bad day written all over them . Del Toro is riding to hard and in the wind too much . He's no pogàcar. Yates has been closing the gaps with the minimum effort required strategy . Roglic is isolated and is following Yates as a guide. Right let's wait for all that to be revealed as wrong
