Roglic is isolated and is following Yates as a guide. Right let's wait for all that to be revealed as wrong
Sounds like Yates is working for Roglic. 😂
Smart move by Roglic. Let UAD do all the work while his team hides/recovers.

Visma apparently

With a little help from Q36.5 and Trek. That should pretty easily cover it - break seems to be static at around 2 mins for now

Hatch trying to sell snake oil to cycling fans in the form of Roland Garros; possibly the most dull tennis tournament of the year.
How’s those algorithms, Rob?

A rapid stage I see. It’s going to end up a GC battle by the looks.

I've never watched a stage that ends on top of a cat 4 hill before. Would have thought that a large peleton could keep with anyone pushing the pace up the hill other than at the sprint finish, so a GC contender would just waste their resources for only a second or two bonus.

I shall wait and see.

It's not all that much effort really, there's positioning to be at the front when you hit the mur, then a sprint-climb up the last few hundred meters. There've been plenty in the past, usually a mix of puncheurs like Alaphilippe, Pidock, Gilbert (who won here in Vicenza years ago) and the punchier GC riders. There's not usually much of a gap, but 10" for the winner isn't to be sneezed at.

It thin out a lot is my guess on the small climbs before ... First the riders who have no chance of winning / contributing... Then the guys pulling at warp speed will drop riders attritionally till they blow up themselves leaving a select puncheur GC group
