I hope Del Toro can pull this off and develop to a serious competitor to Pogacar and Vingegaard. One can but hope. The continuation of the status quo isn't good for the sport and Yates, Carapaz are never going to be competition to those guys.

This would be so much better if he didn't ride for the same team as Pog

There isnt one left is there? Not a proper one anyway. Friday & Saturday are brutal but one finishes after a descent and the other is 8 KM at under 4%.

Sestriere might not be that tough at 16km at 3.8% but most of the second half of it is over 6% and it finishes at over 2000m altitude. It also comes after an extremely tough Finistere

It feels a bit generous to regard the first 7km as a climb at all tbh.

It's going to be irrelevant, as the damage, whatever it is, will be done by the Finestre.
It's the last opportunity in this Giro and given how the attacks so far in this race have started pretty early, I doubt anyone dropped will be coming back.

Carapaz 8/13
Del Torro 2/1
Yates 9/1
Gee 12/1

Say the bookies and I'd say they're probably about right
I'd be happy for any of those 4 to win.
Gee at 12...anyone really see him winning it ?
For me a podium place would be a great result for him, can't see the top step though.
Great for the race that we've got to here and nobody has a clue who's winning still !
I'm all in for Del Toro....great if he can hang on and pull this off.
