I hope Del Toro can pull this off and develop to a serious competitor to Pogacar and Vingegaard. One can but hope. The continuation of the status quo isn't good for the sport and Yates, Carapaz are never going to be competition to those guys.
There isnt one left is there? Not a proper one anyway. Friday & Saturday are brutal but one finishes after a descent and the other is 8 KM at under 4%.
This would be so much better if he didn't ride for the same team as Pog
Sestriere might not be that tough at 16km at 3.8% but most of the second half of it is over 6% and it finishes at over 2000m altitude. It also comes after an extremely tough Finistere

Oooops, got confused between stage and GC. He's (Bernal) still out of the game though unless he has some miracle on Col de FinestreHe's 6th !?
It feels a bit generous to regard the first 7km as a climb at all tbh.

Gee at 12...anyone really see him winning it ?Carapaz 8/13
Del Torro 2/1
Yates 9/1
Gee 12/1
Say the bookies and I'd say they're probably about right
I'd be happy for any of those 4 to win.
Break or sprint today....50/50 ?
