UAE will ride fast enough to prevent visma riders getting up.the road in numbers .. s Yates won't be able to dictate the place [or the pace] to attack from on the last two climbs . He has to rely on someone else to go

Ineos will not ride hard with bernal at his limit now ( boy done well)

Will tiberi ride for Caruso. will Bahrain ride earlier climbs hard enough to open it up later ? Or let UAE dictate .

EF have everything to.play for . Can they find a performance when it matters . If they arrive on the penultimate climb in numbers .

Martinez and pellizari ... Martinez down the road for the stage ? Down the road as a satellite? The later doesn't feel like he needs to do that as he could survive in the GC group .

Martinez might be able to set up a race smashing pace lead out for pellizari .

Rubio is on the move too

Puzzle game procrastinator!
You all have such fantastic recall of that Froome attack. I can remember some things about it for sure - but what detail can I recall? I can remember that I was renewing my car insurance that day and I was on the phone to the insurers about something or other while it was happening. And that it was when the giant inhaler made an appearance. Something wrong with my brain,
All I can remember is that many years ago Froome won some big races, but then he 'did a Bill'***.

*** Bill is a mate of mine who decided that riding downhill no-handed while messing about with your jacket is a sensible idea. He did manage to hold the bike upright when a sleeve got caught in the front wheel, but obviously Froome, being a pro rider, was able to cock it up far more impressively!

I hope he doesn't spiral out of ambition

Ayuso's a talented young rider but unfortunately his perceived talent doesn't match his ego, last years Tour de France when supposed to be riding in support of Pogacar and even at this Giro he just couldn't bring himself to say Yates was joint leader. I also think he is not the most liked teammate in the UAE XRG squad, I hear he spends most of this time training alone as he feels it helps him.
