To be fair, some of the cycling podcast agreed with your view, at least at first. It seems to be covering precious few of the amazing mountains the country has to offer. No Gavia, Mortirolo, Stelvio, Fedaia, Grappa, Tre Cime, Zoncolan. Even the Giau, which is probably the hardest climb in the race, is plonked in the middle of the stage, which I could get if they were going right at the bottom and finishing at Tre Cime, but they're not.
It's the Giro, so I'm sure it'll be good, but the route on paper just doesn't seem super exciting.
Take the money where you can.....Riding, or just a PA?

Had a dry January so far....watching Littler has just finished it 😍Adam thinks a PA is a piss artist...
Jonas Vingegaard has reached a deal with RCS Sport and he'll be at the start of Giro 2026.
Agree about favourite for the Giro....but I'm hoping Almeida can give him a run for his money. In theory he should be the favourite but as to doing the double I'm doubtful. Pog gets 5 if he wins this year and that's a real motivator. Would win it with WC jersey and Euro jersey as well. 2nd year in WC stripes.

What’s the longest run of the same top 2 at the Tour? It’s been 5 years already?
5 is the record - by quite a long way I think. I can't find any more that two years in a row with the same top two (several times)

It's genuinely one of the biggest rivalries in the sport
