I am praying this is the one

Just short of £800.

63cm Tiagra ,which is £200 cheaper than Cannondale Caad 9 Tiagra Triple.

Any opinions on this or can i beat it ?

Looks very nice to me. Seems like you have already made your decision though... given that you appear to have it as your avatar already! :becool:;)

Price mainly.Trying to convince her indoors i need another bike.
60 in Feb.So hoping i can treat myself.Retired three years ago .All my money got spent in and on the house and mortgage. So i never got 'that special gift' to say thats why i worked all those shifts.

I consider the specs are quite good.Tiagra, brakes i have never heard of but reviews say adequate.

Next model up 105 all over but £999.I had spotted a Cannondale Tiagra Triple at £999
So for me a compromise with some components could get me this bike at a price that could be acceptable.
Could have a decent bike without breaking the bank.
Colour wise Red and Yellow are two of my fav colours. So i can manage the red and white.Again a compromise. But life is about stretching agreements.
Rather this good bike than not a bike at all .

That would be a nice reward for all that shift work. I must remember to use that when I go for a cyclo cross next year.........

Another thing last year i exchanged mail with another well known Bianchi owner .He is even bigger than me.
He sent over some pics. And he looked a brilliant fit on his.So i know sizing is not going to be a problem .Great this place for getting advice .

I think it could be the model.Riders who would like a Bianchi but can't get £999 out of the family finances.

Just do it.

it's easier to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

Works for me.

Been worth the odd bawling out and protracted sulk.

It's all about risk management........
