We do try. Some just put our efforts into what we think will have the most benefit. For many on here, cycling PR is not it.

Agreed.
Driver education on how to better share the roads with cyclists (and with other drivers) should be a much higher priority, but I don't see enough governments focusing on this. The fact is: cyclists have such a bad reputation because they're a picked-on minority group and the governements do little to prevent this.
