Thanks. Patience and heat seem to be the keys.
The buttons at the bottom are glued to the glass right? Looks like the fiddliest part?

Does the kit come with fresh glue?

The kit I had did not come with fresh glue, so I used super glue gel as it has a controllable flow.
I followed the video guide located on xda developers for this.

Patience is most certainly the key item you require, I would advise also photographing each step you take in case you need reference when reassembling. This has been useful to me in a number of previous occasions (but I did not need to refer to them when doing the S3)

My wife has a cracked screen on her S3 too and we have been recommended these by a friend. I haven't sent it off because I daren't but I'm going to have a ride to Ilkeston, where their shop is, because its not too far away.
Not sure where you live OP but if you're near enough it might be worth a try.

Tried it on my daughter's HTC, and failed. Twice. Damn fiddly, tho' doable, but on both occasions the touch-screen no longer responded properly. It sort of worked, but not properly. Don't think I'd do it again. As others have said, I'd check around for quotes - even for your super-slick beastie, that sounds like a lot. I'm sure you could find an independent who'd do it for a lot less.
