I've got a home made one that I used on the recumbent at Christmas time. It does seem to confuse car drivers!!

He doesn't mean the lights on the bottom of the bike. This is actually a bike which is painted in glow in the dark paint.

my bike is ford focus ST orange in the theory that it's hard to not see me

i'm also wearing a bright blue jacket

yet some asian woman in a little 4X4 decides she can't see me and comes onto the roundabout anyway, thankfully the exit was two lanes, she eased off a bit but that just put her to the same speed as me (she looked accross at me with a fair amount of distain) i couldn't drop back behind her without just grabbing as much brake as possible, so tried to get infront, she sped up, through the speed camera and i kept up with her until she pulled off - think i forced her down the exit she didn't want
