Hi Guys
This is not an April Fools joke!!
Recently my saddle has been slowly lowering whilst riding. It's tightened using a quick-release bolt. But I've noticed that the mounting (part of the frame where the post slots into) is looking a bit metal fatigued. This bike is over 25 yo and owes me nothing. But I'd like to keep it until other stuff wears out.
My question is, can I use some epoxy (metal to metal) to glue in the post, bearing in mind the clamp does 99% of the job anyway? Will it work?
