Bargain, I thought, at £8 (that's the price with their discount card). Should have known better.

They look OK on the face of it, seams stitched OK and shaped pad. No rubbery stuff around the bottom of the legs to stop them riding up, but at that price I can mange without.

But when I tried them on at home - the pad was far too big. The size was my size, but the shorts seem to be made for someone with a much bigger gap between their legs (and before anyone says it, this is not a 'fat thighs' issue - my fat thighs head outwards below the point I'm talking about).

I didn't get as far as trying them on the bike - when I stood up in the shorts the too-wide padding seemed to bunch up between my legs uncomfortably.

So the price may look a bargain, but don't bother. These are going back to the shop.

(The £10 fingerless mitts I bought have been OK over nearly 100 miles of riding so far, though).
