Garmins look great...........But I am a retired old fart and they cost more than my Triban3!!!
Garmin 200s are not very expensive if you can find one. I saw that
Wiggle is out of them but that is the only UK place I looked. I noticed they have them at performance bike here in the US. I also noticed they have placed shipping restrictions on them to some countries, not sure which ones. I did think it peculiar because I had never noticed any restrictions before.
I have used cateye wireless and wired, side by side with Garmins on rides, and there was a little difference in speed and distance but not enough for me to be concerned. Being able to hit a button when you start your ride and again when you end is nice I think. Then just plugging it in and having your data on Strava or Garmin Connect is nice too, along with the comparative and competitive aspects of it.
