I can’t understand why it spreads upwards.

First pubes, then chest, then nose hair, then eyebrows. Now they are working their way up my head, starting with my sideburns.

Aside for my beard and eyebrows, there isn't a single hair on my head at all.

74 now and still a full head of gray hair. Started going grey in my early 20s.

There's a double standard though. Older women who don't dye their grey hair - let herself go.
Older man who does dye his grey hair - silly old fool.
