Going grey! :(

I'm reminded of an old joke:

"My hair isn't dyed. It was that colour when I bought it"

Also, related, a birthday card I once saw:

Cover: "I picture you standing on a cliff top, your hair blowing in the wind."
Inside "... and you too proud to run after it"
Surely they don't have dates on a Saturday night? That last phrase was briefly "and you to proud to run after it" but I quickly corrected it to "and you to proud too run after it" - no one noticed.

I remember a comment about Sergio Berlusconi: "Suspiciously dark hair for a man of his age"
I don’t know what you mean.

I am balding and grey, now either a number 1 or 2 cut and it doesn't bother me at all, but...............my eyebrows and eyelashes are jet black and I dread a grey/white hair appearing in those regions.

Something to do with errors in your DNA that multiply with age. Fortunately for me, there's not a single grey hair on my head.
Me too, but you must have at least a few bushy grey eyebrows like me?

There's a double standard though. Older women who don't dye their grey hair - let herself go.
Older man who does dye his grey hair - silly old fool.
Maz dyed/bleached her hair for years but always moaned that it weakened it, now it's gone 'Ash Blonde' she doesn't have to. Strange thing is when she see's old friends they tell her "I love the colour, where did you get that done" and they really can't believe it's natural.

I can’t understand why it spreads upwards.

First pubes, then chest, then nose hair, then eyebrows. Now they are working their way up my head, starting with my sideburns.
Seriously????
At 71 my pubes and eyebrows are still brown.
Chest......more grey than brown.
Head......still have a full head of hair which went grey many years ago.
Fortunately young women find my grey hair irresistable.
(I made that last sentence up  )

Most of my friends assumed I started dying my hair to hide the grey -but I just didn't like the colour it was.
I've only just started to see the odd grey - and it is odd, because I have one very much thicker strand that is grey/white, and I swear I've pulled it out twice, and dyed it, yet it's still there.
My daughter says my roots are coming in grey but I'm not convinced. I'm having it dyed blonde next month so we'll see what the hairdresser makes of it.
FYI I haven't any grey/white anywhere else! Nor has Mr6, but he is rocking the salt and pepper look more and more.
