I get out into my local town (City) once every few weeks. Tonight, I feel the need, in the light of the Manchester bombing, to get out and celebrate life. If you're out n Nottingham I may bump into you. If you're out anywhere else, have a good one!

I'm off to a gig tonight, this afternoon I got an e-mail from the venue saying that they will be running the usual security checks but please don't bring bags and coats if you can help it. Fair enough.

More a suburb of Nottingham nowadays But a few trendy(ish)* bars mixed with some proper pubs

*By local standards.

So many of those places have sprung up over the past 2 or 3 years. There are several round our way, my favourite sells top quality CAMRA approved cask ales at £2.70 a pint, and sometimes only £2.50. Great evolution of our drinking habits.
