That is true though, they tempt the dog into the water, then swim out a bit, and a bit more, and a bit more until the dog gets tired and cold and has no longer got the strength to swim back to the shore.
I have seen the trick performed with an alsation german shepherd, but on that occasion the dog survived, just!

No, it's not obvious. I thought the footage didn't look quite right, but you have to admit it's very well done.

It's well done, but the analysis is very good as you can then see it's not 'real' when they brake the frames down.

It's not a golden eagle, I've seen golden eagles in Skye and they're nothing like that; they're bigger and a nice goldy brown colour. The dubbed bird call in the replay tells us at least that it's been messed around.

...they'll take foxes and maybe lambs - those are quite a bit lighter and smaller than a toddler.

i've seen other birds do that too. in richmond park a few years back, the ducks and geese worked together on a dog that swam out to attack them. when it got to the island they drew it back into the water and would take it in turns to constantly draw the dog away from the other birds. the dog went under. there was no owner around, well, no one tried to get it out of the water.
