Rain completely stopped an hour before I left home, spent most of ride looking out for the multitude of oil and diesel slicks especially on the corners/bends.

Well that was fun. Left the house at 0630 to a grey sky. Within 5 minutes there was a torrential downpour which lasted all the way from Chiswick to Shoreditch. It stopped just as I reached the office.

I couldn't have been more wet had I jumped in the Serpentine on the way. Too wet for usual cycling eyewear and couldn't find the peak for my helmet, so was reduced to keeping my head down and trying to avoid the odd collapsed drain and patches of spilt diesel.

Off work this week - was very pleasant in Mcr until about 10.30.... walked to the local shops with the kids on their scooters..... started raining on way back. Heavy thick drizzle now, no wind though. Off to get really wet shortly......... local pool for the fun swim with floats etc.

Biked for an hour in the drizzle wearing my super amazing quick drying skirt, so when I got down the street I work on I took a second to look down and marvel at how dry I was. In that second I hit a big pothole and absolutely soaked my right foot. Bugger. I then squelched into the office feeling very silly indeed.

Oh you have heard about my problem at work !!!!

Timed it all very nicely today. The rain had stopped by 7.30 this morning so I headed off to work (only 25 minute commute). It didn't start raining again until after 9 am, and then it was stop start during the day, with a massive downpour at 3 pm, and then by 3.30 pm there was clear blue sky, so it was time to head home, getting in 5 minutes before another deluge.
