I would say that £962.00 for a seven year old Galaxy is a very good price (for the seller)

no I bought the same bike (a super galaxy) off the ctc website for 525.00, with all my panniers and handlebar bag it came to 730.00 with brooks b68 (panniers and handlebar bag were new)

so this at a grand with postage I thought was expensive.

That is obscenely expensive in my view. The bike looks grubby and ill-kempt, the panniers are cheap basic ones, and all in all it looks far too pricey. Having said the market is what the market is, and the seller seems to have been honest about the bike (assuming his mileage claims are true). You can still get a brand new Super Galaxy from Spa cycles for £1088 though (not that size)

That stem looks dangerous to me though!

Agree. £962 is a lot of money for a used bike. Alright it may not have the Made in England tag, but the Taiwanese are as good as anybody at making bikes and the 631 chromoly that they currently use is pretty decent too.

Moody .. it's sent from England to Taiwan and then sent back again as a bike
