Emailed them after a few close passes as I see the same coach often on my trip home.

Please do not think that we are ignoring your concerns or condone this driving style.

I have spoken to two of the drivers of the vehicles involved and stressed the importance of allowing as much space as possible when overtaking.

Having looked at a number of your video clips, I can fully understand your frustrations and concerns as a commuting cyclist. The condition of the roads and trying to avoid potholes etc make your journey particularly unpleasant and at worse quite hazardous.

I expect all our drivers to show care and consideration to all road users, as they are our ambassadors while they are driving our vehicles.

If you have any other causes for concern, please do not hesitate to contact me.

It could be mistaken as sarcasm.

Thats how I saw it. They seem to be trying to disuade you from cycling along that road.

I actually disagree. That's the problem with the written word, the true intention can often be misleading.
I read the response to be a genuine 'saying all the right things to keep you happy reply' - the sort of thing you'd expect the PR side of any organisation to send out.
As to whether the two drivers pulled up on their driving style feel the same is another matter entirely.

Which is why I said "could be".

One thing they have incorrectly done is assume commuting by bicycle is unpleasant and dangerous. Which lead me to question the possible intention of the response.
