Had a flu-bug thingy last week and then "post viral Fatigue" which is a fancy word for being knackered.
anyhoo, monday did my usual commute in, 5 there 5 back, felt ok. tuesday i was off but had plans for an adventure but the wifes shopping lust killed that.
so today on a half day i left a touch early and struck out in the opposite direction to work.
13.8miles later i arrived in work feeling quite refreshed!
must admit it took me 56 mins but i think in part that was due to my navigational skills after hitting a diversion and the fact that i came across two older gentlemen out for a leisurely ride on their roadies and stuck behind em for a couple of miles, actually dropped my average from 16mph to 15mph doing that. but it was fun and i can't wait to do it again tomorrow, perhaps i'll add some more miles to it just because i can
