I’ve often found the very cheap ikea self assemble stuff to wear and last really well. I’ve paid multiples more for furnitures that haven’t lasted as long.

You also get to have cheap hotdogs.

I’ve got an ikea sling back chair getting on for over 35 years now. Really good value as my mother gave it to me.

I bought a tiny plastic little glow-in-the-dark cylinder about an inch long, attaches to my key ring, useful for finding keys in the dark. Doesn't need charging up in light (it contains a wee bit of mildly radioactive gas which causes fluoresence of the pigments. Not gonna give anyone cancer!). The packet said it was guaranteed for 10 years....I bought it in 2010. Still works, best £10 I ever spent for worth.

Tritium’s half life is 12 Anna bit years, so your tube will be less shiny but there’s still plenty of beta particles flying about to last a bit longer.

This week I got a brand new compost bin and 3 new pallet collars for a tenner at our local recycling depot.

A shout out for Kinesis Fend Off mudguards - have now fitted them to mine and OH's road bikes and my gravel bike (large size ones on this). Very impressed with them, they fit close to the wheel and look unobtrusive on the bikes. They don't rattle and feel good quality and look smart
The only similar ones I have seen are Portland Design Works ones which are twice the price.

I have some Assos arm warmers that are over 25 years old. They started out as red but are now a shade of pink except the bit that goes under the sleeve of your jersey that’s still red.
The cost nothing I was given them when I was in vets racing team.
