Does anyone really leave their bike unattended or without a quality lock?

I use this, but always has e secure lock between the bike and roof rack as a minimum

I have two. The trick is obviously to lock the rear wheel somehow.

I have one. I simply don't leave the bike unattended on the roof.

Chain and padlock on mine if it's left out of sight.

591 here but always a secondary lock if leaving unattended for even a short time (very rare!).

I failed to see the bike lock on there, only the bike carrier which is designed to stop it falling off when attached. As is said above, leave your bike unlocked at your peril.

I always lock mine separately with cable locks through the frame and around the carrier. It wouldn't take much for Thule to improve that clamp so it went right around the frame and locked there.

I always assumed (dangerous, I know) that the locks weren't an anti theft feature but were present to prevent the handles coming undone.
