My missus found this recipe on the BBC food site - roasted with garlic & balsamic vinegar:

Really easy to do, and boy they're tasty!

Apparently they freeze well too. Not that we've managed to not eat all we've managed to make. Yum!

Tomatoes are a staple here, they're in almost everything. There is only one sauce, tomatoes, onion and pepper(chilli). To this is added chicken, meat or a favourite, chicken gizzard. The three ingredients are also blended together uncooked to give a sort of salsa to be eaten with a dough made with fermented corn called Kenke and fish.

Looks good, but i've been hit by blight for the first time in 6 years of growing. Luckily I plant early, so we've already had a massive glut, but it's rally disappointing to see my crop decimated.

If only ours went that red. Despite a hot south facing patio and an Indian summer the little sods are still green.
