Got my bike today

Hey guys, got my Boardman Hybrid Comp today - my first bike in years!!! The last bike I had was some crappy MTB that weighed a tonne aswell, so this should be quite a nice change for me to commute to work with

I'm not really pro when it comes to setting bikes up, infact I'm terrible but I think I managed today. What sort of fine tuning adjustments usually need to be made? I'm scared of messing with the gears, and I know I need to loosen the disk brakes up a bit because when the wheel spins I can hear/feel the brakes pulling on the tyre!!!

Hoping to get it all sorted tomorrow night so I can go on a decent ride somewhere and really break it in this weekend ready for the monday morning sprint

Ahhhh, that new bike feeling. I'm assuming your Boardman is form Halfords, so the gears should be set up properly. Same with the brakes, but they should adjust out with the turn of an allen bolt.

Get some miles in while it's sunny!

Thanks man, yeah everything does seem pretty much sorted already but like I said I think the brakes are rubbing a bit on the tyres so out to hunt for a T-25 Torx screw later after work to try and sort that, then once the tyres are ready I should be ready to go, plan to do some nice mileage this weekend!
