So it's 'hipsters' that 'non-pretentious' folk hate now? It was emos last time I checked. Goths before then, and 'crusties' before them if I remember correctly.

To be honest this is all really ****ing sad. I don't give a **** what 'scene' someone identifies with, as long as they are nice and friendly then thats fine.

People who create blogs like this don't seem nice and friendly - they seem like proper *****.

Just read some of the comments there - these are people who are obviously miserable, lonely, unpopular cumudgeons desperately looking for SOMETHING to focus their impotent rage on. Really ****ing pathetic.

I might start a blog ragging on people who rag on people ;)

Perhaps like people that hate bikes?

I agree, it is sad that people choose a whole (sorry, only 93% of) demographic to despise.
I think Depeche Mode said it fairly well in 'People are people'.

get over yourself. I spend (some of) my days designing buildings. I know, deep down, that a lot of what I do is image-driven nothingness (albeit with a sustainable agenda). If I was fortunate enough to find a picture of something I had designed being satirised on one of these blogs I'd be laughing for days afterwards.

And, in case you didn't get the joke

Actually I didn't really get what the architecture thing was all about. I still don't.

My beef is with the people taking great delight in hurling their indignant rage towards some social group with agressive and unrelenting abandon, when often they don't even know what they are.

I remember seeing some comments on some pic on the internet about "****ing hipsters" when the guys in the image were punks.
