Nothing to do with cycling, but on Thursday night I was unloading a tanker full of effluent from the cider factory. It was under 1 bar of pressure in the tanker, which was nearly empty, so I was next to the outlet pipe waiting to disconnect it. Suddenly, with no warning whatsoever, the pipe popped off the outlet valve and I suddenly found myself pretty much directly in the path of a twenty foot jet of cider sludge.
I had to drive home absolutely wet through and reeking of shite, and I had to buy a new phone on Friday morning because I had it in my pocket at the time. It's quite funny now I think about it, I keep getting this image of two big eyes looking out of a jet of cider washings, like in a cartoon.
