Blimey - that was quick, even by Eddy's standards

Or do QuickStep carry cans of spray paint around with them on the team bus?

Well they passed close to the Merckx "factory" yesterday on the stage, so it's hardly a big ask to deliver a frame overnight

Do all teams carry a stash of points jersey, plus colour co-ordinated bar tape etc?

ASO make the jerseys and skinsuits when they need them. But other stuff - Shorts/Gilets/jackets/helmets/etc are often carried by the teams if they reckon they are going to need/want them.

So the likes of Cervelo/Columbia/Garmin/Lampre will be carrying green stuff if they are confident of their riders getting into green. The likes of Astana/RetirementShack/Saxobank are likely to be carrying yellow stuff.

I don't think Merckx bothered having a specially painted when he did just that.
