Here for rides.
good informative thread here about touring GPS. I need (ok want) a GPS for touring and for off-road MTB use (planning on tackling the trans-cambria in the autumn.) as I sick of wrnagling paper maps on long rides (but will carry them as back up)
My criteria are
must display OS maps (not negotiable)
splash/waterproof
handlebar mounting
decent battery life, up to 12 hours, preferable from replaceable rechargeable batteries
batteries must work at low temps (winter outdoor use)
back light for night use (a bonus)
I've seen a Satmap Active 10 deliver on most of these. But everyone says go Garmin. So what Garmin's can display OS maps?
