Hi
I am doing the sea 2 sea in June, Whitehevan to Tynemouth,
I would like to follow the ncn 72,71,7,14and 72,

I have a Garmin edge 800,
But I am not too clever on getting a downloaded file over to the 800 .

Has anyone got link, or a file, that I can just copy to my Garmin.

Cheers inadvance

Just follow the blue signs - you don't need anything else (at least you didn't when I did it)

Thank you,
I have maps and a bit of knowledge,
But with my experience with ncn routes, I would like have another option,.

I've seen gpx files on the net, but not been able to download to my Garmin,
I know I am doing something wrong.?

I don't own an Edge, but IME the easiest way to load a file onto a Garmin gps is to connect the gps to the pc, then copy the gpx file to the gpx folder inside the Garmin folder on the gps. If it's like my gps, you need to turn it on before you connect it.

You need to copy the .gpx file to the "New files" folder on the Garmin when it's switched off - when you switch it on the file gets converted to Garmin's own .fit format and will appear in the "Courses" folder (and disappear from New files)
