Graduation - what's the protocol?

They are both lovely buildings. One of the perks of occasionally having meetings with HSE in Bootle is that I've been able to attend occasional Evensongs at the slightly-earlier-to-have-been-started but slightly-later-to-have-been-finished Anglican version. But I have reservations at describing either as old.
I take it all back. 'Old' is merely a way of distinguishing them apart. I'm just about to watch this, in which the Anglican cathedral gets a mention

@User76 I'm massively proud of her - and of number 2 son who just finished year1. I will tell anyone who'll listen, or atleast stand still long enough, that she's graduating. I just wanted a heads up on what to expect. I kind of expect it to be long and boring, apart from the brief bit in the middle when it's her turn, when I shall probably cry just like I did when she did her first dance recital.
I'm sorry you were robbed of the opportunity, but I'd have probably been in the can't be arsed category myself. Not a fan of pomp and circumstance, but I will of course let no1 daughter know how proud we are.
