In my day, the expression was "I thank you" as in the Sam and Dave song. Note the cunning way I informed three threads, the Chain, Growing Old, and Grammar in one thread. (I hope I am using informed correctly, hang on, haven't I just referenced another thread? Maybe I should start one up - does every thread inform on every other thread like the Stasi in the last days of East Germany.
