Graphic help needed 🙂

I am hoping someone can help me. I would like to have the white background square removed from this logo.

I have no idea how to do it. Could someone help please?

That checkerboard pattern represents a transparent background. Can you get a png version which will support a transparent background?

You need a transparent background - and bmp and jpg files don;t do that.

You need - as said before - a png file - if you can only get a jpg file then put it into an image editor and crop out all but the logo
then save it as a png file

Dead easy when you know how - if you don;t then not so easy - I am sure there are youtube videos telling you how to use Paint or GIMP to do it.

I clipped the logo image to a square bordering the logo, created a filled circle the same diameter as that square, plonked that over the top of the logo square, aligned the two, used the circle as a mask to eliminate the background, then saved the result as a 32-bit PNG file with transparency enabled.

Used to do it quite often
had a go and forgot the details otherwise I would have offered to send it or something
mind you - didn;t have much time and they do keep changing how things work!

I taught myself how to do some simple tricks so I could create some images for the puzzle games that I am developing.

I liked that one of using one shape as a mask for another. The front one acts as a 'pastry cutter' for the other.
