All this begs the question...

Why has this Claud chap got a shed full of BMXi?
It's not just the BMXia - I get the impression the'ir a relatively small proportion of his bike's.

(even typing that made me wince)

To brung a note of sanity to this important topic that somes seems to finds funnies let me says that (phew that was closest) the item being pluralated is bicycle the B in BMX so more than one BMX is B'sMX.

Bad apostrophe...

Nice logic though, but then shouldn't it be BMXBs...

After all, BMX is the sport, and so it should always really be a BMXB, no?

BicycleMotorCrossBicycle is what you mean?
Surely in anticipation os some idiot having more than one it should be MCB then we just have to nail down the apostrophe.

This is true
BMX's is OK. The apostrophe used here denotes there has been a contraction and gives the s a separation.
