grease on freehub, i have just received..

...some new wheels and on the face of the freehub which the cassette screws to there is alot of gease should i remove some of this before i screw on the cassette?
a speedy reply would be great as i am waiting to put these together.

I'd leave it TBH. The lockring on those sort-of ratchets on anyway...

defo leave it. If mine come without much grease I always put more on

Leave grease on.

Unless it's a braking surface, grease does more good to a bike than not.
