I've done close solo with way more climbing the GMC is flat and you'll get to ride with others so you fly along enjoying the closed roads.

Yes, park at the city ground. Because of the closed roads, allow plenty of time to get there as you have to approach it from the north. Might be a queue to get in but lots of helpful marshals. Leaving is much easier as everyone finishes at different times and most people for the next distance will already be there.

davdandy if you use the east Lancs road then the A576 which goes into the A6010 (Alan Turing Way) the stadium will be on you're right and avoid all the road closures also reverse the route afterwards.

So does a red number mean I have British Cycling advanced start? Because I signed up with it and it doesn't say anywhere on the letter?

Getting excited!
Slightly worried that the roads might be slippery after possible rain showers so won't be able to go as fast or as close to people.
Terrible last training ride yesterday, no idea why. I only managed 22 miles and have been quite stiff in the hips and thighs which is new. Hope to be fresh by Sunday.
Is everyone else ready?
