I've just been up the coast in the car and the signs are all out ready for Sunday. Looks like we're not going through Amble town centre this year so there'll be no chance to nip into the Harbour chippy for a quick snack

It was raining cats and dogs earlier and very windy too. Hope it didnt spoil it for you guys.

The weather was AWFUL, especially on the way up as I did it both ways.

At one point I was on the granny ring doing 8mph..on the flat!

But coming back down was a blast. A 25mph tailwind is a lovely thing.

Well done mate for doing it both ways dont think iam quite ready for that lol glad that wind was mainly behind us lol only took 3hrs and putting that down to help from the wind was a gud turn out again well done eveyone who took part

Cheers Ian. To be honest the only thing thatt kept me going was the thought of that wind being behind me on the way back. If it had switched round, as it has a nasty habit of doing, I'd still be in Seahouses now.

Really good day though, hope everyone did well and raised loads of money.

And special thanks to everyone who shouted, "you're going the wrong way!". It was still funny after the fifteenth time.
