I know but what can you do?

The truth is this isn't going make a shiny $hite of a difference once I'm sat on top of it like a freakin' big wind break aerodynamics go straight out the window!

Lol

Gave the Madone a thrashing yesterday, gonna wash it later and see if I can't make it fit the head tube some how

Would anyone know if getting into Sportscity is by entering onto Joe Mercer Way?

I'll be coming down Briscoe Lane end so if that's the case its just a quick hop over Alan Turin Way for me

I entered the 52 miler a week ago and have number 1223. I'll be in a green and black Dolan Dual wearing a Ribble Valley CC shirt.

Got the official shirt in large and it's smallish on me and I'm not a big person. Does anyone know if these can be exchanged after the event? I don't want to carry it round on the day.

Discovered this morning the owner of my LBS, Ewood Bikes, is running the service station at Old Trafford. I enquired if this meant I could stop for a free service ....... didn't get a reply!!
Great bunch of lads there if you need help.

I'll be coming in from the other side, so I'm planning to use Great Ancoats Street and come in from Pollard Street - Merrill St - A-N-R.

Well I am ready but the bike is not, might have to annoy the better half this evening and bring the bike inside to prep it, fair few things to do still, gears, switch wheels, clean and so on. Doing the 52 miles, did a training ride over the same distance and terrain and managed it in 2h47m. In a group really won't be a problem, can't wait!

"As your handlebar number incorporates your timing chip DO NOT BEND IT."

The instruction is very specific. Therefore I shall limit my speed to ensure no bending of my number occurs on the day
