That was the news that night.

I was disgusted when they cut from the Final of the World Snooker Championship to go to that. It was one of the most riveting and tense matches I have ever seen, the two finalists Higgins and Thorburn did not like each other and it showed. As commentator Jack Karnehm said during the game, "This isn't snooker, this is war".

Sport is better than real life.
